Our visit to North Carolina coincided with our anniversary, and Nancy and Jerry’s. Their anniversary is just the day after ours. We celebrated with dinner out at one of their favorite restaurants. Nancy’s mom sent a box of chocolate covered strawberries, complete with silver serving tray. A delicious treat, packed in ice, and delivered […] During our vacation to Charlotte, NC and surrounding environs, we picked up caches when they were convenient to the areas we were visiting. I added NC, SC, and TN to my list of states in which I have found caches. We particularly enjoyed hiking in the mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway and several times […] Yesterday, in a light rain, the Smoky Mountains lived up to their name.
