Antioch

I spent the morning looking in the Brentwood and Antioch area.

Concrete Evidence was along a paved trail beside a stream/canal in Brentwood. I found it fairly quickly at 8:45 AM. It’s under a piece of concrete and there is lots of that. But this concrete piece is also under a bush and covered with some leaves.

Oasis Trachea is next to a shopping center off of Hiway 4 bypass (a new road to me). Found it quickly at 9:05 AM. I think it’s cleverly named. It’s hidden inside a big, curved vent pipe.

I had to climb a small hill in Antioch to get My First Cache at 9:25 AM. The view clearly shows all the development nearby with a good view of Mt. Diablo in the distance. This was an obvious hide.

I Knew It Was Coming! is a nice, large sculpture in Antioch. Looked around a bit before realizing there was an obvious hiding spot and then found it at 9:48 AM.

I found Out in the open 2 at 10:15 AM. Not exactly out in the open, in my mind, but it was clearly visible from the right angle. It’s a fake sprinkler head.

I parked at the Prewett Family Park and walked to the rest of the caches. There is a paved walking and biking trail running along an open space under some high voltage lines. I found them in this order:

I couldn’t find Ranch Living or The Dollar Tree.
