For some snow play we headed up highway 44 from Redding to a little beyond the north entrance to Lassen National Park. There is a nice snow play hill that we had all to ourselves. Given the condition of the snow, it would have been nicer if the hill was a little steeper, but the kids had a good time. In addition to sliding down the hill, the kids built a snowman (a snowbaker?), and engaged in a snowball fight.
