After Christmas brunch at my Mom’s in Shafter, we drove to Kristi’s in Bakersfield to visit with Karen’s family. Around dusk we took the kids out to hunt the two closest caches. Joel seemed to really like it.

And, at this time of year everything seems to accelerate. Yet, we love the Christmas season because of the angel’s proclamation, “I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the […] For Mark’s birthday we hiked in Diablo Foothill’s along the fairly flat creek trail that starts in Walnut Creek near Castle Rock park. It was a great hike (the girls did great), and at the end, just at the entrance gate into Diablo State Park we picniced at a table judiciously placed. Also picked up […] |
