The Smoky Mountains

Yesterday, in a light rain, the Smoky Mountains lived up to their name. The photo is of the ridges seen from Cade’s Cove, a small community begun around 1830.

We must be in the South

I don’t think we’d see a motel sign like this in California. In addition, the Bible in the room of this Pigeon Forge, TN motel was prominently displayed, opened to the twenty-third Psalm.
