At lunch today I decided to head to Sunol. I knew there was a cache along Highway 84, but when I got there I found I didn’t have the waypoint. The PQ that was loaded in my GPSr was an old one. No matter. I recalled where the Google Map satellite view placed it and […] Karen wanted to walk somewhere, so we drove to Callippe in Pleasanton, parked at the club-house, and hiked out to get Callippe’s Under Side. I found it fairly quickly (2:12 PM). We saw several deer (actually quite curious) and flushed a golden eagle that must have been lunching on a squirrel just down the hillside […] Dan and I made a nice hike today into Las Trampas from the Hemme Avenue trailhead and came up with 11 finds.
