I finally worked on Speling Quiz (a puzzle cache) last night. It had been on my list for a long time, but I just couldn’t get motivated. This morning I made my first trip to the new Livermore library and made the find.
Although I had done a web search some time ago, I never found a site with all the words listed. Last night, I found a new site that made it easy—it gave the actual spelling and the correct spelling. Here’s a table:
| Good | Bad | Letters |
|---|---|---|
| Einstein | Eistein | n |
| Theseus | Thesues | |
| Kachinas | Katcinas | th |
| Gauguin | Gaugan | uia |
| Nefertiti | Nefertite | ie |
| Michelangelo | Michaelangelo | a |
| Luca Della Robbia | Luca Della Robia | b |
| Beckmann | Beckman | n |
| Schumann | Schuman | n |
| van Gogh | Vangough | u |
| Shakespeare | Shakespere | a |
The letters to run through the anagram generator are: nthuiaieabnnua
i hue unit banana — this is the code phrase
A second key is needed: books (word spelled by bike rack)
Fizzy’s website (after logging in with the above two keys) says “It’s directly underneath the book “Investigating nature…” by Vinson Brown. The call number I looked up is 547BRO. It’s a magnetic key holder under the bottom shelf.
