In some small way I regretted that today was the birthday celebration for our two-year-old granddaughter twins. I had thoughts of going to Emerald Bay at Lake Tahoe to watch the opening stage of the Amgen Tour of California bicycle race. It turned out, however, that Lake Tahoe was hit with a late season snow […] As per our family tradition, we had a very nice Easter dinner followed by fun times outside with the kids on an Easter egg hunt. Dessert (a mandatory part of our tradition) was birthday cake (mine, although a little late in celebrating) and home-made ice cream. The grandkids Dan, Carolyn, Elizabeth, Janet
