Early this morning I’m drinking my coffee and psyching myself up for an 8 to 9 mile hike from the Emerald Bay trailhead up to Velma Lakes with Mark. See, his stride is a foot or two longer […] We spent a good portion of the day at Sand Harbor, a lovely beach area at Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side. Just before leaving, we hunted down the two caches in the park, one a micro and the other a virtual. Yesterday we took a lengthy expedition to the north of Reno in search of a couple of geocaches. We had the latitude-longitude coordinates, and we even knew from reconnaissance of satellite photos that the caches were located on mountain tops.
