During our vacation to Charlotte, NC and surrounding environs, we picked up caches when they were convenient to the areas we were visiting. I added NC, SC, and TN to my list of states in which I have found caches. We particularly enjoyed hiking in the mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway and several times […] Yesterday, in a light rain, the Smoky Mountains lived up to their name. The photo is of the ridges seen from Cade’s Cove, a small community begun around 1830. I don’t think we’d see a motel sign like this in California. In addition, the Bible in the room of this Pigeon Forge, TN motel was prominently displayed, opened to the twenty-third Psalm. |
