This afternoon I took my first bike ride of 2010—32 miles to Peet’s Coffee at the Gale Ranch shopping center on Bollinger Canyon road. Last year (2009) I didn’t start seriously riding until the end of March, but ended the year with a little over 2500 miles. Perhaps this year I’ll ride a little more.
Last year no ride was longer than 50 miles, but this year I’d like to be able to comfortably ride 65 miles, and perhaps even squeeze in a full century (although I’m not adamant about that if the longer rides hurt too much).
